As a Sustainability Financial Analyst, you will:
- Analyse and interpret data related to sustainability processes, employee behaviour and ESG related topics (with focus on energy, sustainability and workplace) - in close collaboration with the Positive Impact Lead and experts in the People & Culture (P&C) department.
- Take ownership of the P&C reporting/dashboarding:
- Manage and analyse data to generate meaningful business insights
- Optimise and implement (new) data processes
- Gather, review, and evaluate data in support of the company’s positive impact goals
- Compare data and track progress to key sustainability targets
- Work with management teams to develop performance reports and metrics for use in long-term, annual and quarterly planning
- Support where applicable and needed the corporate data analytics team on corporate management reporting
- Track and report KPI’s and other information for your business area, contribute to the definition of improvement actions derived from the data analysis and monitor of the progresses of derived actions
- Ensure that all available intelligence is integrated in mid and long term business forecasting process (X+3 / X+5)
- Assist in the consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting
- Complete ad hoc projects and analysis requests where needed
Your profile
- University degree in economics or business administration

You have a minimum 3 years of professional experience.
You are interested in sustainability (ESG framework) and you have a passion for data management. - Excellent analytical skills
- Experience in Cost Accounting/Financial Analysis/Controlling is a plus
- Excellent IT skills, proficient with Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience with ERP is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Ability to collaborate with other Melexis data analysis and data engineers in the IT team
- Ability to achieve results through project, process and network driven organisational setups
- 3-5 years of relevant People & Culture business and/or ESG experience would be a plus
- Having experience in relational and dimensional data modelling is an asset
