In a chilled warehouse a general operative is tasked with keeping detailed records of what is in the warehouse and where it can be located. You must also complete safety training, and find ways to organize the area for maximum space saving. You are expected to be efficient and hardworking as goods must be shipped out on time.
Duties include:
Working as part of a team
Receive deliveries of goods
Check for damaged or missing items
Locate and store goods
Move stock around by hand, using pallet trucks or a forklift truck
Pick orders
Load, and sometimes deliver, goods
Keep records of stock on customer invoices
Keep paperwork up to date
Clean work areas
