An exciting F&B venue in Berawa, Bali, owned by a Michelin star chef, is gearing up for its opening and is now seeking young and talented professionals to join us.
We invite highly experienced candidates to apply for this position. The successful candidates will be highly organized and professional, with excellent overall knowledge of Food & Beverage operations. They should be fully confident in bringing the following attributes to our company.
Qualifications
1. A formal culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
2. Minimal Experience 2 or 3 years as CDP.
3. Strong leadership and management skills to oversee kitchen operations and mentor junior staff.
4. Ability to contribute to menu planning, dish creation, and culinary innovation.
5. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks, orders, and responsibilities efficiently.
6. Clear and effective communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management
7. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
8. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the head chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
2. Oversee kitchen staff, provide guidance, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth teamwork.
3. Ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards in terms of taste, presentation, and quality.
4. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping them improve their culinary skills and techniques.
5. Collaborate with the head chef to develop and refine menu items, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
6. Contribute creative ideas for new dishes, specials, and culinary concepts to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
