We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing sales transactions accurately, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Responsibilities:
Cash Handling:Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely.
Provide correct change to customers.
Customer Service:Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.
Resolve customer issues or concerns in a professional manner.
Checkout Management:Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively.
Scan and bag items quickly and accurately.
Ensure prices and product codes are correct.
Inventory Control:Monitor and report low stock levels to supervisors.
Assist in restocking merchandise on the sales floor.
Cleanliness and Organization:Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
Arrange and organize merchandise at the checkout counter.
Security:Be vigilant for potential theft or fraudulent activities.
Follow security procedures for handling cash and transactions.
Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with POS systems.

Salary: Rs20,000.00 - Rs30,000.00 per month
